Youth Elixir Liquid Foundation

I started switching out my usual make up products to organic ones this August as I have sensitive skin and have been looking for a clean foundation. I have been using Liht Organics’ Youth Elixir Liquid Foundation in Divine for a few months already. I usually use the lightest shade of foundation as I have fair skin. Divine shade blends in perfectly with my skin tone. When applying the foundation, it goes on smoothly and seamlessly, without caking or feeling dry on the skin. It lasts long throughout the day without causing shine to my oily skin. I don’t need to touch up or spritz anything as well. The vanilla cupcake scent of the foundation seemed odd at first, but I got used to it after a while. Thank you for such a wonderful, clean product!

For as long as I can remember I have always had breakouts on the chin/lower jaw area, which I associated with my menstrual cycle. It got very bad one year postpartum with my first daughter. My skin was worst than it ever had been, even as a teenager. I blamed it on what I thought could be a hormonal shift.

As a long-term vegan and self-confessed “health nut,” I was really uncomfortable and thought my skin did not reflect how happy and healthy I was feeling.

At the time, I was using drugstore-bought skin products and makeup as I just did not see the point in paying more than $20-$30 for my day/night cream or foundation. My skin eventually improved a little bit, but it was often inflamed and I still had breakouts often.

In 2020, I got pregnant with my second daughter and decided to take good care of my skin this time. I invested in quality organic skincare and started using Liht Organics makeup exclusively. I have not looked back. At the one-year postpartum mark, I actually was shocked when I realized I had no breakout and that my skin was clear, healthy, and not inflamed. I finally feel like my skin reflects how good I feel from the inside out.

This is a nice liquid foundation, with buildable medium to full coverage.I have yellow-toned, fair-medium skin. I usually use MAC NC15, Chanel Beige 10, or Shade No. 21 for most Korean cushion foundations. I was sent Perfection to test, but it turned out a bit too pink-toned for my skin. I prefer a brightening but natural look (think Korean make-up), so I went ahead to buy Divine instead. Divine is a great match and blends beautifully. It looks as good as any other brand-name foundation I’ve used and lasts throughout my HIIT workout. Really nice coverage but feels lightweight on the skin. There is a slight vanilla cupcake scent which disappears after a few minutes. It’s a great alternative for natural makeup enthusiasts. Took one star off for the price.

Am raving about the texture and lovely scent! Had some stubborn and slightly red marks and tried this out from a friend’s recommendation for a full day of zoom video meetings at home. The coverage is great, as you can see from the before and after picture. No filter and taken under harsh white lighting…and what’s more it lasts the whole day without needing any touchups <3

Super LOVE this foundation!! Not only is it safe without the chemicals, the coverage is excellent! Used it for my outbreak and it concealed my pimples and marks really well without me using any concealer! Did about half my chin here to show how it naturally brightens my skin and conceals my flaws.. Will definitely buy again!

Layers were separated on the first pump, enquired and understood this is expected because the natural oils separated when subject to heat. I simply shook the bottle and after a few more pumps it is good. Blends easily with smooth finishing, love the smell and natural coverage!

I’ve been using Charm and I just love how it covers without looking like a mask/too obvious that it’s makeup. The texture is just right – slightly dewy without being oily and it lasts throughout the work day with not much touching up!

I’ve tried a few organic foundations before and I have to say this is my favourite by far! The texture is high coverage but not too thick, and also not watery/oily like other brands I’ve tried. I love the finish… it still looks like my natural skin…And it smells amazing!

I don’t usually wear foundation but my friend had this and I tried it out (Perfection) —> I’m now a convert but only to this one, the coverage is very natural and I am digging the smell

I’ve been wearing Pure (with underlying pink tones) for about a year since my friend recommended it – it truely stays in place and stays on through sweat. My skin looks smooth and perfect in a natural way and you don’t even have to set it with powder. One bottle last me 3 months as only a dab is needed for the whole face. Love it!

Great foundation, its the only one I’ll ever use daily from now on. Feels moisturising and doesn’t dry out my skin. Doesn’t feel heavy and it makes my skin look even and natural. You do not need to use alot per application, its worth every penny!

I tried Luminous and am very impressed with the performance of this foundation. No skin irritation at all and no breakouts after using it daily for 2 weeks. And the shade melts perfectly into my light brown skin, giving me a natural dewy look. Stays on all day as well. Would definitely recommend this to any gal with sensitive skin and is looking for a natural product with great performance.

This is one of the most natural looking foundations I’ve owned. I usually have trouble finding a good match because I have olive tones but this one is so close to my natural color. It gives me light coverage on my undereye circles and generally evens out my skin. It’s also easy to layer other products over it and it blends out beautifully with fingers or a brush. I would say it’s medium coverage. I got Glow and am loving it.

This foundation is so natural looking and makes my skin looks poreless. I like the liquid texture because it blends it very well and naturally. My skin tone is somewhat between fair and medium, and Perfection matches me pretty well. I like the smell and how it stays on all day. Makes my skin glowy and smooth, and not cakey at all (which has always been a problem). Been using it daily for 3 weeks and no outbreaks at all. Good!

This foundation gives me flawless looking skin with very natural medium coverage. I have oily/sensitive skin but have been using this for a while without getting any pimples. Covers the redness on my skin perfectly. A little product goes a long way. Only thing I dislike is the pump which tends to dispense excess product if you are not careful.

Nice foundation which is very buildable. This is medium coverage for me, but its easy to layer up if you want more coverage because it blends very well. I like using my fingers to heat it and get a very natural radiant sheen. Lasted the whole of my workday and post-work dinner for more than 12 hours. Gives me beautiful skin and alot of compliments. Kudos to the emphasis on organic ingredients, great for health and the environment!

This is such a great find! Rare that I find a foundation shade which matches my brown undertones, but Mesmerize blends in so well and gives me a natural radiant glow. Its very breathable and feels light, yet the coverage is good (covers my pigmentation spots). Besides the good performance, I like how the ingredients are certified organic which are so safe its edible, that says alot. No qualms recommending this to my pregnant friends…

Where do I begin with this amazing foundation, I’ve been going through different foundation brands for years and I am definitely sticking to this one. What’s not to love — the Perfection shade is very natural and gives good coverage and has staying power. It does not feel heavy or cakey on the skin, and its easy to apply with the heat from your fingers. I’ve been using it daily and even forgot to remove it during a couple of late nights. No problems and no zits the morning after, so happy!

The formula works well on my skin. When it sets, it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing makeup at all. Its very long lasting even in the heat and humidity, I did not have to touch up at all, and my skin stayed smooth throughout the day. I like the organic aspect of it, as I’m trying to ‘organify’ my life and habits now. This is definitely a good addition to my clean and green routine.

I found this brand from a blogger review and it looked so lovely. Finally tried it and no regrets, its worth every penny. The texture is very light and blend-able. Covers my spots/pimples well, and not dry or patchy at all. Adds a soft dewy finish to my skin. I use it even while going for a run and it stays throughout. No breakouts from that. Excited to try the lip products.

I am very fair-skinned and got the Divine, I love the glow that it gives. Applies on smoothly and evenly, and you don’t need alot. The organic and skin benefiting properties are a plus, i have spread the word to my friends and they love it too!

I have oily skin but am surprised that such a moisturising formula can look dewy and not messed up on my skin. This gives medium coverage and is very long lasting, I didn’t have to touch up at all, and it doesn’t cake out or dry out. It conceals my zits quite naturally (although not total coverage), but I’ll just top up a layer of concealer which melds very nicely with the foundation. Would use this daily.

The packaging is beautiful and it feels luxurious. Buildable coverage and a little goes a long way. I have combination and oily skin, and the formula stayed throughout in this humid climate. Great to know that its organic and good for my skin too =)

This foundation is truly full coverage and it makes my skin look flawless. I’ve received a lot of compliments on my skin when I wear it. The foundation lasts me all day, even in high humidity. I like how it works so well for me and that at the same time the ingredients are organic and good for me skin. Looking forward to more organic products from this brand to complement my clean and healthy skin regimen.

I was gifted this and didn’t expect to like this as much as I do because I’ve never heard of this brand before. I LOVE IT, after trying so many different bottles of foundation over the years, this beats 99.999% of them hands down. This gives you light to medium, while looking natural, even in daylight. Pure is a perfect match for my skin tone, it leans yellow but doesn’t overdo it. I apply it with a beauty blender and it doesn’t sheer out too much like some foundations do. I cannot recommend this enough, I love this!

Good coverage and stays put all day. It does not not sink into lines and pores. The texture is lightweight and is easily applied and blended with fingers. Got Pure, which is a very beautiful color that looks very natural. Small amount needed so it lasts a long time and it is worth the price, given the care and quality of the organic ingredients. Definitely my HG foundation!
